IE7 freaks out

On a side note today was the second time that IE7 freaked out when I was on myspace. I closed one of my tabs on a myspace page and myspace (or some ads) started creating numerous tabs. So much so that my memory spiked and left me with the only option of ending the process (see image below). Take notice to the iexplore.exe process peaking my memory.

Still not sure why this happened, but it's definitely annoying and it's only happened on myspace.

It's because you're fat.

Dude, why in the world are you using IE for anything other than cross-browser compatibility testing? Serious, make Firefox your default browser!

Also, if you download Google Gears, it lets you do all kinds of cool client-side mail sorting on MySpace. It may improve performance, although it does not look like it was your mailbox that you were looking at when IE crashed... Also, if you download the Firefox plugin known as Adblock Plus, your browser won't load the lame ads, which I'm guessing is what caused the crash. There doesn't seem to be much QA for banner ads, unfortunately.

Or, it could be the fact that you have 15 million tabs open!
